This class teaches the basics of wheel throwing, as well as creating the basic cylinder and bowl forms. This class will concentrate on weekly projects designed by the instructor. The first half will focus on basic techniques of centering and throwing for beginners. As students progress, there will be demonstrations in thrown and altered combining techniques, as well as decorative glaze techniques to enhance your surfaces.  No experience necessary.

This class teaches the basics and more advanced techniques of wheel throwing. Learn how to hone your skills through demos, one on one instruction, and guidance from the instructor. Demonstrations will focus on throwing on the wheel and trimming. Your instructor will guide you toward your own personal goals in clay.

This adventure includes exploring basic pinch, coil and slab handbuilding then moves onto creating forms with templates. We'll not only learn how to form pots using the pinch-strip method, but we’ll also employ templates and press molds to make awesome cups, vases & trays. By creating our own patterns and textures on the clay surface, it will be a breeze to build pieces which are truly our own.
