Juror: Francine K. Affourtit

Francine K. Affourtit is a Philadelphia based artist, educator and arts organizer. As an arts educator, Francine has worked with various institutions and programs, including Tyler School of Art, the Center for Contemporary Printmaking, the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, and as a resident artist with Urban Gateways. As an arts organizer, Francine contributed to the development of several organizations such as the Student Union Gallery Program at SAIC where she served as Exhibition Director. Francine has exhibited her work internationally, including exhibitions at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, Werkstadt Berlin, and Castello 925 in Venice. Francine is a 2017 recipient of the Independence Foundation Fellowship in the Arts. She currently teaches at Tyler School of Art.

Merle Spandorfer Memorial Award for an Emerging Artist – Elissa Sunshine, Slings & Arrows
