Nicole holds an M.F.A. in Printmaking from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY and a B.F.A. in Painting and Drawing from Tyler School of Art, Elkins Park, PA. She has been teaching art to adults and children for 11 years.

Whether you're a beginner or experienced, this printmaking class provides an engaging way to explore this versatile art form covering methods like relief printing (linocut, woodcut), intaglio (drypoint, etching), collagraph, monotype, and screen printing. The course teaches preparing the matrix, inking, printing, and best practices for tool prep and cleaning. Emphasizing design principles and creative problem-solving, the class guides project development and experimentation with composition and image transfer. Students will also explore examples from traditional printmaking history and see how it has influenced contemporary art. Some materials provided.
