This creates a vibrant tapestry of collective success, celebrating individuality and togetherness.

Event Day: Wood Engraving Workshop with Rebecca Gilbert -visual artist/printmaker

Join us for an enlightening day learning about Gilbert’s signature work and a hands-on opportunity to explore the intricate techniques of wood engraving.
Event Schedule:
We’ll gather at 9am to check in with coffee and conversation.
Gilbert will split the morning between an artist talk on her recent work and a demonstration of her techniques with time for questions.
Lunch will be served and is included the price of your ticket
During the afternoon, participants will review the process for transferring images and staining wood blocks.
Students will transfer images and stain their own blocks.
Tools will be available for workshop participants to do some engraving and print test proofs to take home.
Many print examples will be shared for reference
Workshop participants should each bring a 2" x 2" sketch or photograph to work from.
All other supplies are included
