Artist in Residence, Colleen Hammond, colleenhammondart.com , will lead the class in exploring the popular symbols of love and friendship. These “key” elements will engage and create individual original Welsh Lovespoons for each participant to share with special friends and family. Registration is reqired - Ages 6-10; $25

The giving of Lovespoons dates back to the 17th Century, where traditionally, they we given by young men to young ladies in the hope that they would lead to courtship. Create your own Welsh Lovespoons and Valentine cards on Sunday, February 12, 2012, for ages 6-10 held from 1:00pm-2:30pm
Dress for a mess and invent your own Lovespoon tradition for your Valentine this year! The creations will be ready to take home after the workshop. Registration is required; class fee is $25.
