The Lewis Brothers are Philadelphia's best known bluegrass band. They have been together since 1985, and in that time, they have developed a highly polished, classic bluegrass sound-- complete with tight vocal harmonies and some of the most exciting instrumentals in the area. They have shared the stage with greats like Dailey and Vincent, J.D.Crowe and the New South, Chris Hillman, and Herb Pedersen. As a member of the John Herald Band, Wanamaker Lewis shared the stage with Pete Seeger, Joan Baez, Ritchie Havens, Doc Watson and many more.
