Basic Skills for Potters

Tuition: $260 (Members: $245)


For beginners as well as more experienced potters, this class will concentrate on weekly projects designed by the instructor. The first session will focus on basic techniques of centering and throwing for beginners . For advanced students there will be demonstrations in thrown and altered combining techniques. In the second session the beginning demonstrations will be continued. For the more advanced students the focus will be on making multiples in pottery. Clay bodies and glaze techniques will be explored in this class.

All levels welcome!

Exhibited at The Clay Studio, Abington Art Center, Cheltenham Art Center, Vox Populi Gallery, Artists League of Mount Airy.

Please join us for the 71st Annual Members' Exhibition -member pot-luck reception, Sunday, February 5, 2012 from 1pm- 3pm. Since its inception, this exhibition has been non-juried for all Cheltenham Center for the Arts members, and remains so today.
