Since its founding, the Cheltenham Center for the Arts (CCA) has served as a venue for high quality classesexhibitions and theater programs that have promoted regional artists and showcased the work of children, adults and outstanding faculty in our community.

At CCA we believe that the arts can offer to all ages a means to broaden your horizons, learn new skills and explore new ways of seeing the world. It is our goal to provide a creative environment to nurture that process.

Cheltenham Center for the Arts 2015 Resident Artists' Exhibit featuring works in ceramics, painting and printmaking. Fugue Vernacular comprises the work of four artists, Francine K. Affourtit, Joan Brown, Stephanie Cayer and Annie Sarachan who have been in residence at Cheltenham Center for the Arts during the past year. The contrapuntal harmony between the works in this exhibition reveals the connection that working in community affords Cheltenham's resident artists. Demonstrating the relationships in conceptual purpose and material form through the arrangement of four individual artistic vocabularies builds a melody that reverberates throughout the exhibition.
