Cheltenham Center for the Arts joins with Open Book and continues a new author reading and conversation series, Philly Writes! celebrating our fabulously diverse and prolific local writing community, Wednesday, February 8, 2012, from 7-8pm with Liz Moore, author of Heft. Moore, from New York, is a writer and musician and now resides and works in Philadelphia. Take this opportunity to listen to Moore read from this compassionate novel, and join in the conversation about the characters and writing process itself. Tickets are $10 adults/ $5 students. Connect with your community and support local authors during this new, fresh event at Cheltenham Center for the Arts. Whether you are an avid reader, writer or literary enthusiast, Philly Writes promises to engage your senses and fuel your mind.

Artist in Residence - Opening Reception
Cheltenham Center for the Arts will host its first annual Artists in Residence Show opening on Thursday, May 24, 2012 from 5pm-7pm and on view through June 15, 2012. Three resident artists will be displaying their work and installations; Colleen Hammond, painting, Patti Nelson, ceramics and Jennifer Hermann, metals.

Spring into Summer! Live Music - Wine Tasting & More!
Join us for this celebratory event as you view the Annual Painting show for one last time, Friday, May 18, 2012. Begin the evening with Summer Wine Tastings and continue with Live music from the Bocco Socks! The event begins at 7pm, with the music starting at 8:30.
