Date/Time: Sunday, September 18, 11 am - 1 pm
Tuition: $45 (Members $30) per class session
The Writer's Workshop is an invitation to read, write and exxplore areas of interest as writers and artists. The workshop will begin by introducing participants to basic concepts of free verse poetry including imagery, precise language and emotion. This workshop offers a playful, creative space to craft images and strengthen and nurture the artist's voice.
Poetry will be read and shared to show us our hearts and to trigger our own images and rich language. Participants will be encouraged to develop a relaxed attitude about writing.
