Encaustic is enjoying a revival in the art world as of late as a versatile and subtle medium. Try your hand at this facinating process with Laura Demme;painter sculptor and mixed media artist. Laura provides all the materials you will need to explore this fun and fast medium. You bring natural bristle brushes (various sizes) and any collage materials you may have to incorporate your own creation. Learn techniques like layering, scrafitto, embedding, textural surface building and carving. $25 material fee payable to the instructor ( cash or check)
