We Love Our Volunteers!

Thank you so much for your interest in the Art Center. We owe much
of our success and longevity to the hard work and dedication of our
volunteers. Without your invaluable help, many of the wonderful and
enriching programs we offer to the community would simply not be
possible. A questionnaire is available in the main office to help match
volunteer's preferences with volunteer opportunities.  If you are
interested in lending a hand, let us know, and become a part of the
Cheltenham Center for the Arts Team!

Teens can fulfill  high school volunteer and community service hours
in a fun and creative atmosphere! Call or stop by the Art Center to
fill out a Volunteer Questionnaire to let us know about your interests.

Volunteer/ Intern activities include:

  • Administration
    Receptionist Duties, Bulk Mailings, Photocopying, Data Entry, Flyer Delivery
  • Board Committees/ Sub-Committees
    Exhibitions, Facilities, Fundraising, Special Events, Special Events
  • Exhibitions
    Monitoring Artwork Drop-off or Pick-up, Assistance in Installation/Removal of Exhibits
  • Facilities
    Painting, Landscaping, Gardening
  • Fundraising
    Annual Fund Mailing, Membership Drive, Annual Auction
  • Special Events
    Planning, Set-up, Greeting, Food (preparation, serving clean-up), General Clean-up, Exhibits, Summer Art Camp

A special thank-you goes out to the many devoted volunteers, who
donate substantial time and responsibility to the Cheltenham Center for
the Arts! All of your efforts have made an undeniable difference, and
our members, students, and staff are forever grateful.

Portfolio Prep - Painting and Drawing
This class will provide students with the time, space and guidance in a thoughtful, serious and fun atmosphere.

Family Fun Day is Sunday, March 25, 2012 from 12-4pm. Join Cheltenham Center for the Arts as the Children's Art Show opens and with an array of fun activities, artists in action and more!

Cheltenham Center for the Arts joins with Open Book and continues a new author reading and conversation series, Philly Writes! - Wednesday, February 8, 2012, from 7-8pm with Liz Moore, author of Heft. Tickets are $10 adults/ $5 students.
