Registration Policies

How To Register

Registrations may be submitted in person, by mail, or charged by phone or online by the registration
deadline.Full tuition must be paid at the time of registration. Please include course number for all
class you're registering. Make all payments to the Cheltenham Center for the Arts. Fees incurred to
the Center by returned checks (NSF) are the responsibility of the student.

Receipt of payment confirms class registration unless notified by the Center of course cancellation.

Early registration is strongly recommended. Decisions to hold a class are based upon enrollment on
the registration deadline of each term. Enroll early to ensure a place in the class of your choice.

 

Class Cancellations

In the event that a class or workshop must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be notified by phone as early as possible, but no later than the day before the first class. Tuition and fees will be fully refunded or a credit will be given for another class within the same fiscal year. Refunds may take up to but no longer than 2 weeks to process.

Refund and Pro-Rating Policy for Classes and Workshops

A $15 processing fee will be charged for all refunds. Upon student withdrawal one week prior to the first class: full tuition refund minus processing fee. Up through second class: 75% refund minus processing fee. No refund will be given after the second class. Membership fees are non-refundable. CCA does not pro-rate any class due to late registration or missed classes. Exceptions to these policies will only be considered in cases of extremely extenuating circumstances and must be made in writing to the executive director.

Publicity Policy

Upon registration, students give permission to the Center to publish student photographs in print or on the web for fundraising and press purposes.

General Information

CCA reserves the right to make changes in programs, schedules and instructors, and to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment. Students agree to abide by and enforce all the rules and regulations of the Art Center. Adult and teen class materials are supplied by the student unless noted otherwise.  Childrens' materials are supplied by the Center.

71st Annual Members Exhibition February 5 - Member's Pot Luck Reception
Please join us for the 71st Annual Members' Exhibition -member pot-luck reception, Sunday, February 5, 2012 from 1pm- 3pm. Since its inception, this exhibition has been non-juried for all Cheltenham Center for the Arts members, and remains so today.

Cheltenham Center for the Arts joins with Open Book and continues a new author reading and conversation series, Philly Writes! - Wednesday, February 8, 2012, from 7-8pm with Liz Moore, author of Heft. Tickets are $10 adults/ $5 students.
